Brief Profile

Howick Waterwise originally operated with the assistance of Bucklands Beach yacht club, but it was felt that Howick beach would be a safer area as there is far less traffic and no ferries to contend with. Howick schools waterwise moved to Howick beach about 16 years ago. Presently there are 4 school using the facilities as welll as the Howick sailing club who have assisted with our efforts and share our equipment.
